So many of you have asked for a balanced unit study for the Lewis and Clark expedition. Here it is! This unit study includes two outstanding books on the Lewis and Clark expedition, plus an activity book with over 30 activities sure to please any learning style. Suggested for grades 4-8, but can easily be adapted for younger or older students.

This unit study was written by homeschoolers, for homeschoolers. It puts the historic journey into a world-view perspective so your students understand international events of the time and the unprecedented importance of the success of this expedition. They will put names to the people that had an effect on the Corps' success as they get to know who they were and whom they met.

Activities include map making, journaling, oral presentations, making moccasins, making and using a leaf press, documenting observations and many, many more!
